We walked a long way specifically to get here, and it was worth it. Already buzzing at noon on a Sunday, Bonci offers perfectly crisp pizza with interesting, fresh ingredients. Worth every penny (and every step).

I read about this place as a must try when in Rome. It's known the Michealangelo of pizza. Because of this, I have this crazy expectation of the experience. I ordered 3 different flavors. They were good and unique. Because the pizzas are charged by weight, my pizza cost around 22 euro. It was higher than I was expecting given all the fantastic options in Rome. I am glad that I gave this place a try. The pizzas were good.

Great slab pizza place in Rome- we always come to visit when in Rome. Bring your patience with you though usually a crowd and long lines- but absolutely delicious and enjoyable. No seating available but I think the time of year- usually in warmer months they offer some type of high top table outside. We always find seating though nearby. Enjoy.

The pizza was good. It did get busy with a long wait. It was not thin crust like I usually like.

Got here a little before noon and luckily escaped the crowd! There was basically no line and got to order almost immediately. I will say it was difficult to order since there weren't any signs, but I ended up getting the mushroom pizza while my friend got a pumpkin pizza. The mushroom one was overflowing with toppings and had the perfect ratio of mushrooms to bread. My friend found the pumpkin pizza to be incredibly unique and loved the addition of rosemary as a topping. Food was amazing, but I must admit that it was pretty overpriced. I feel like I could easily find the same quality pizza for half the price, and I'm a little confused how this place got so famous. There were also hardly any spaces to eat, both inside and outside, but the food makes up for all of that.

Had some great pizza here in Rome. I got the potato & egg, porchetta & burrata anchovy pizza. They were very good and very flavorful. There was so much variety and choices for pizza types and ingredients to choose from! They ask for how much in weight do you want in pizza, so keep in mind what and how much you want. They will then reoven the pizza and it will take some time to get your pizza, especially when the lines are long which is often. The staff is very patient and helpful in guiding you in which pizzas are available and they also have suppli balls which I had more stomach to try. There isn't much seating so I walked to the park next to it to eat and relax.

This was a must stop pizza place on our trip after seeing all of the Tiktoks and videos of their delicious looking pizzas! Prepare to come early or wait in a long queue as the place fills up fast. We came in the afternoon and had to wait over an hour, but it was well worth it. Their flavors are always rotating and I love that there is truly something for everyone. We got three different kinds of pizza and all of them were truly delicious. I love the square style type pizza and the bread was fluffy, crispy and amazing in texture and flavor. It was so good, we had to go back twice during our trip! Highly recommend and we hope to be back!

On our last night in Rome for our last meal in Italy, my mom and I came to Bonci for some slices of pizza. Because it was a Sunday night and most people typically lineup for a slice at lunchtime, we walked straight in to the counter and were the only ones there. They had a wide variety to choose from, and we ended up asking for some recommendations from the staff. They cut us a slice of the meatball pizza and a white slice that had prosciutto and pecorino. The crust was crisp and crunchy which I appreciated because it held up to the density of the toppings. We both felt the prosciutto pizza was slightly better than the meatball, but both had great flavor. Although a bit pricey, this place is definitely delicious and worth a visit if you find yourself in Rome.

A bit out of the way and hard to get to without a Rome day pass, but definitely worth it if you're trying to get a bite to eat after visiting the Vatican! This was the best takeout pizza we had in all of Rome! They have so many selections and you order by taking a ticket and waiting your turn. You'll see both tourist and locals grabbing a bite here. Make sure to arrive before the 12 clock lunch rush or you'll be waiting over an hour in line. We came at 1130 and only had to wait 15 min. They change their rotations of pizza as they run out so you might even want to order twice! In order to make sure you get all the slices you want. A piccolo slice comes out to 8 euros and I recommend 1.5 per person.
